Loss of picture while playing, help Think its my ATI 9800 Pro 128 GFX card.?
Right, bloody hell I don't believe this, 2nd card already. The problem is that one some games, even games that aren't that powerful, e.g. full spectrum warrior I can play them for a while(time varies) but after a while my monitor just goes into standby and displays the message as if no video is being detected. I've even sadly enough had to run Farcry on low. I really have no clue I have 512 ram but even still that's recommend for Farcry. Any way the main problem is that the card either makes the screen black out or the image stretches vertically so it becomes kinda line like. Its really getting annoying as even games it should be able to handle are screwing up. On some occasions the back(where the power box is) becomes very hot, or the GFX card becomes hot but some times its at ok temp, is it over heating I really don't have that many options as its running on a computer desk(they really don't know how to make these things my dad had to customise it). need quick solutions, ty.
