sea fishing, please help a beginner?
Hello! I tried to cast beach with an old friend yesterday, and now I'm hooked (no game word!). He has been doing that for years, and although it was a busy day we got the value of one hour of basic education through me before the time we forced the cover of a local pub. He touched on something that interested me, but since I do not see another week, wondering if anyone on this site may be able to help. We went fishing with ragworm, but my concerns refers weighted lures (plugs?). Am I have reason to think that these plugs are tabulated hooks connected, and so there is no need for bait? Shock leader is necessary rigging when a weighted lure, or just slide straight to the end of the line principal, if so, this seems a very simple way to fish ... not float, lead free, no tour, no bait, just a weighted bait on the end main line .... this right? Is exactly the same truth of the spinners? Probably have the wrong end of stick! Thanks!
