Level Wind Fishing
Anyone know what the fish are biting and what bait to use in class Huntington Beach Pier CA?
I just started fishing, I've been there 3 times in the past month and havent received a bribe, any advice would be greatly appreciated, with only a Penn level wind and ugly stick for what is my best bet
Try a piece of anchovy cut into a size 6 hook handled on a bench Carolina. Then drop to the bottom and wait for a bite. if it occurs after 5-10 minutes and try rebait few cranks on the bottom. Keep doing this until you reach the strike zone or bait when it comes to the surface. Also try different baits such as mussels, squid and shrimp. As for the dock area to fish, try 3 / 4 's of the climb at first and then move up or down spring if no bite. Also, if you fish the surf zone (water white), sand crabs also work. Other teams including the platform high low sabiki platforms, and the dropper loop. Note that you can change the sizes of hook platforms. For example, if you will assign bites connections, but no, try a small hook size 8-12, and if you want to catch larger fish, use a size 2-4 hook with larger pieces bait. Hope this helps!
