The handle is heavy, but it helps to center the knife in the hand and the knife in general handles very well. Synthetic phenolic resin is a very hard and very durable which is not slippery to handle. It is very difficult if not impossible, for break this identifier.
Accompanying the 119 special sheath is high quality leather that has a lock button to keep the knife in place and a piece Plastic smart within the sheath that helps prevent the knife to cut the sheath after repeated use. The cover also has a belt that although no well designed (not unlock to remove it so that you have to remove the belt) does the job without any problem.
The 119 is very special light with a weight of about ten and one ounce and a half including the sheath and this fact combined with its versatility and durability makes the 119 especially good choice for a survival knife. You could use to cut the bark of trees, preparing food, kenneling cut, cut branches to build a shelter that turns the game and skin among other things.
