Should I return the 7 'Penn Captiva spinning combo i have and get the 6'6 "combo Procaster Daiwa spinning?
I heard that call the "Craptiva" and is not a good reel and rod. People tell me to get the Procaster Daiwa spinning combo is the same price as the Penn. Targeting under im, bass, and perhaps some small shad. Also, the Daiwa reel has 11 bearings Procaster compared with 8 roller Captiva.
The Captiva certainly has mixed reviews. (You've never had one, but I have to read the comments of bad about it ..) When purchasing a roll (or any address for that matter) the best course of action is to read as many comments about it as possible. Go to Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's and check out any reel is thinking of buying ....... company Both have a decent review section is written by the consumer. Here's an idea: Why not save some more money and buy something good? Both the combo is not worth buying, (and could only manage 6-8 baby or medium-sized Tarpon Jacks before ka-put!) For $ 50 more than could have something decent ........ Why buy shit now, when you can save a week later and some good? Here are a few "cheap" options excellent comments: coils? 1. Cabela Salt Striker SS40-This reel has tons of good information (155 people give it a 4.6 out of 5), and is only $ 45!
