Northern Pike Bass
Under Review lure Gimmick
With so many fishing lures on the market, and many LCD TV in the store to face trying to reach our eyes it is important to write a review on a pair of these low trick decoys in order to avoid getting ripped off.
Let me first start by stating the obvious. When the bass are very aggressive, as in the pre-spawn weeks, and during the fall, not going around the bush to say that the bass are not very selective at this time. Check out any time that marine biologists found in the stomachs of sharks. Garbage cans, shoes, lunch boxes, almost anything imaginable. Similarly, these "As seen on TV" products can be picked up by any fish indiscriminately happens to be on a binge of hunger. That is exactly what These TV ads want you to see. Introduce the line into the hungry under a controlled environment, and trick into believing that the low and the other fish "can not handle it." This could not be further from the truth, and ultimately, will be out a pretty penny for these products. Let's look at some.
1) The Banjo Minnow - Everyone has heard about this lure, and has been around a long time. The commercial is well together, and the action of the product looks fantastic. Listed under after hitting under this delusion, again and again. Then offer it to you for a relatively low price, and hook you. Being someone who has a passion for fishing and bait, I had to buy a package. Then, I received my package. Let me tell you the results.
First, the Colors are completely ridiculous. If you've ever read an article about "poles" fry or "match the hatch", these lures not make the cut. Ranging from a ridiculous pick between bright chartreuse, and a mix between light and Crest toothpaste with sparkles, which is far from reaching the bait in lake.
Secondly, the action looks good on tape, but very different in the water. The stars are aligned absolutely necessary to perform the way this bait you want. I have to say that the carp die see is special, and I've seen on this lure swallow ... but only for the most aggressive on the years. Their line tends to go wrong when using this product that causes the bait to spin and turn, instead of the pins and die. The hook through the nose is a great idea, but must be addressed carefully, as the bass has to swallow the bait before setting INT. This happens ... again ... more aggressive in the days. However, the day when the bass just seem to slap your bait, has a much higher chance of landing the bad hook through the lip.
Finally, these baits are made cheaply. It's just a matter of a few models, when life "as" the eyes of our upcoming fall the bait, leaving nothing but a cold "Jaws-like gray. "It does not really bother me, because these lures fund baptized anyway my feed.
Conclusion? Stay away these lures. Save your $ 20 + after shipping and buy the basics ....
2) Blade dancer - I was eager to try these lures out after seeing a commercial LCD TV in my local fishing shop. Berkeley think that puts out great products for the most part, but they are absolutely rubbish. Of course, in the video, which are low after hammering bass, pike and pike on this lure AFTE. I immediately bought the store to deal with this lure, and tried out. Verdict? Absolute rubbish.
First, the temptations are very expensive. You get only a spoon, you add the remaining lures along use. Block this lure up in a trunk, and the whole package is gone.
Secondly, I cast this lure in the most aggressive ... I have worked in swimming the lure, the lure jigging, and doing everything universal video talks about, and all I did was connect a foul alight in an accident on the side.
Finally, the action is incredible, and yet the presentation is very difficult to control. Whether you get a violent swing of seduction, or nothing at all. This can not work on days when you need to really reduce your presentation. I will say that in late summer and early autumn, I had a very successful Northern Pike landing. Once again, however, anyone who goes bass fishing during this time, inevitably, hit a sink with a worm or Senko accident. I'm not sold that this is just the lure of pica. However, with the flash of the spoon, and violent fluctuations, at the right time year, this may be a murderer pike.
Conclusion, stay away from this lure unless pike draw for the day. It only works for summer, early autumn, when the pike are more aggressive. When you see advertised on TV a lure ... Keep walking!
Stick to the basics. Buy a few templates, cranks, spinnerbaits, and plastics, such as a tape worm, and Senko. These keep the price down, but fill your tackle box bait universal for any time of year. Companies try to use these "As seen on TV" methods to make a decoy "original." I have only one comment about that. There is a reason these lures not sold in quantites MASA sports and tackle shops ... Only take up more space on the shelves.
