Fishing Fluorescent Light
How often and how much to feed your fish, tank cleaning and filter and keep the lights on.?
My 75 gallon aquarium has about 80 tropical freshwater fish consisting of a cardinal, rummynose, rainbow, golden and Congo tetras. It also contains an assortment of platys. Catfish nose also Cory and I bristle. How much, how often and what time of day should I feed them, consisting of flake food and frozen blood worms? What Acquaclear often should I clean my filter and 110 do a water change of 30%? How long should I keep the fluorescent light? I have only plastic plants and want keep the algae on the plants. I was keeping the light on 11 hours a day and therefore clean the plants every 2-3 weeks, which is becoming a pain / The filter sets I was very dirty and clean every week now because so many fish. It is once a week or more often I do it? I thank you for your responses.
have too many fish. The more fish you have more work to do. 80 of the fish is simply too much for 75 gallons. Basically you have 2 options either get rid of some cleaning your fish or your tank more frequently as every 4 days. When you have no live plants how long to maintain its light is more about the pleasure of seeing the fish really do not need light to be happy. I would say no more than 8 hours if it is concerned about the algae. you can get away with just feeding the fish once day and remain happy and healthy. I would give them a treatment of blood worms once a week or less. Stomachs of the fish are only the size of eyes that do not need much. I think it's best for you to give some of the fish into the tank should not have more than 40 fish in it. and even if the step to cleaning, still not be enough. That's just a bunch of fish.
